My parents bought a house in Saratoga Springs, Ut about 1 year ago, but were obviously unable to live in it. So my sister and her husband moved in in March, and in the meantime we decided to remodel our kitchen thinking we were sticking around in our own house for awhile. But they unexpectedly moved to Oregon only a couple months later leaving the house vacant again.
Now my parents are about ready to sign another contract in Korea for another 1-3 years and the house was ours for the taking if we wanted it. The decision has been really hard because Mike has been 2nd counselor in the bishopric for the past 2 years which is hard for him to leave, and also because we cannot sell our house and thus forcing us to have to rent it out. (And do I even have to mention the fact that we're leaving behind our brand new kitchen?! ) However we know that this will be a good change for us, and an opportunity that will benefit our future tremendously if all works out. We will be putting our house up for rent in the next month or so, and moving at the end of November!
