O Christmas Tree

Every other year we spend Thanksgiving in Wyoming with Mike's family. When we do, we have the privilege of cutting down our own tree for Christmas!

It starts with bundling up...

because some hiking is required to find the perfect tree...

Here is the one we picked...in all its 'woodsy' glory...

Mike takes a saw and begins to cut...

And carry it to the car...

And here it is...in all its festive glory.

We love it!

Here's some pics of the rest of the fam:

We got 1 good shot, but as time went on, Mike got a little carried away with the camera's remote... And the picture quality went quickly downhill. :)

Such fun pictures! Your tree looks great; I bet it smells great too. What a fun tradition!

So fun. Love the tree. Next year we are going to go cut down our own tree. We were going to do it this year but with the move and everything we decided we would have to live with the fake one for just one more year (real trees in Florida were outragiously priced!). I can't wait to go get our own tree next year though!

Your tree is so beautiful. Love how everyone just became themselves as the pictures went on. Are those cowboy boots on Emmett? He is so cute!

Love it! I totally know about that "picture quality" thing. I think the most realistic pictures happen right after everyone thinks it was taken...or right before! Merry Christmas! How fun to pick your own tree!

How fun to go and pick out your own tree. It looks wonderful. I love your son's little cowboy boots he is wearing while sitting on top of the car.
