V-Day

Mike and I had our first date without Emmett this weekend for V-day. Grandma G. and Aunt Sharon watched him for us, and I think it was harder for mom than it was for baby. Mike decided to take me on a GPS guided date. We got in the car and I was in the drivers seat. I was supposed to follow exactly where the GPS took me. (Based on the address Mike entered in). We ended up at Texas Roadhouse, where we got take-out dinner, then onto Paradise Bakery where we picked up some cookies and brownies for dessert, then "Nikki" (our GPS) took me up to the top of Bountiful, close to the temple where we parked and watched the sunset from a great view while we ate dinner. Unfortunately, Texas Roadhouse didn't put ANY silverware or napkins in the bag. So we resorted to eating our mashed potatoes, chicken, and ribs with our fingers. We decided the salad was too messy and ate that at home. Too bad we didn't have a camera to remember that memory. It was a good one.

How very romantic. That is funny about the missing silverware, although at first I'm sure it wasn't. What a fun date.

What a romantic date. That is a really fun idea. That is so funny about the lack of silverware. It makes it so much more memorable though. Glad you had fun.
